Team USA- Gentry Ellis-Safriet, Drake Driscoll, and Sally Henry with Head Coach Lisa Dye

Team USA attended the Santiago Chile International Jumping Competition November 2-8, 2009.  Members: Gentry Ellis-Safriet, Drake Driscoll, and Sally Henry competed on borrowed horses jumping from 1.00 meters to 1.20 meters.  Each member was coached by the Head Coach, Lisa Dye.  The riders competed throughout four days amongst riders from 29 other countries across the world.  The competition was an unforgettable experience where we all made friends that will last a lifetime.

Drake Driscoll rode way more than 8 seconds on the evil "Cariche" and proved to have a fault free round in the final at 3'6!

Drake Driscoll- Final round and fault free!

Sally Henry rode very well at 1.20 meters all week and finished top of her class on Lauren.  And they say a Selle Fracais/Paso Fino can't jump!  The next Junior Jumper bloodline!  Lauren was great and fast. Plus, she had the best owners!

Well my theory of how to turn tidy became Sally's theory of how to turn tidy... or vice versa!

Sally's Mom wondered how a Selle Francais/Paso Fino could win a speed class and then she did it!

And the horse turned well and Sally kept every jump up by riding every inch of that mare!
